This project was for a new two and three-storey learning academy serving local students and the general public through out-of-hours sports and conference facilities.

Mechanical and electrical installations were designed and co-ordinated by Airedale, allowing for the facilities being on-show in the teaching areas, due to the acoustic raft ceiling. All pipework routes, ducting and electrical exposed containment systems were therefore blended into the ceiling details.

The academy also featured a debating chamber and recording studios. The design included the installation of a central air handling and building management system, in addition to ventilation, an extensive power data and WAP network, addressable fire alarm, CCTV, extensive access control and panic attack.
