
This project was for a new two-storey college, to replace the existing run down college, serving local students and the general public.
Mechanical and electrical installations were designed and co-ordinated by Airedale, allowing for the facilities being on-show within the new engineering teaching areas, and within ceiling voids to class teaching spaces.
The design and installation included a central air handling and local HRU ventilation & building management system, VRF heating & cooling (fed via ground source heat pumps) specialist gases within the workshop areas, LPHW under-floor heating, water (including solar preheat) & gas services, an extensive power (inc 110V), data and WAP network including state of the art interactive whiteboard technology, addressable fire alarm, CCTV, extensive access control, general and feature lighting throughout.
