A retirement village consisting of two blocks, with a mix of apartments. The project included central services such as shops, a bar, catering facilities, laundry and even a small cinema.

Mechanical services installation involved eight LPHW heating zones from gas fired boilers via radiators, air handling units, constant pressure extract ventilation from groups of apartments, domestic hot & cold water systems, drainage and cooling to the training and server rooms.

The apartments have individual control, with metering and cost monitoring via heat meter modules linked to an off-site management system. The heat meters also provide volumetric reading hot & cold water usage for cost analysis.

Individual air handling units provide tempered fresh air and general extraction to the communal lounge and dining areas located around the site.

Electrical services included lighting, emergency lighting through a static inverter, external lighting, general small power and fire alarm serves to L1 classification. In addition, a site-wide nurse calling system, complete with local positioning system and assistive dialler technology were also installed.

Telephone and television were included in all apartments and selected communal areas.
