The contract was to provide a new 'Carcraft' sales platform as part of their retail roll out programme. The services installation, which was design and build, consisted of radiant heating to the workshop areas with CO controlled ventilation, vehicle exhaust systems, dust extract, electrical supplies and dedicated data systems. The Mechanical and Electrical content had to be closely with the thirty three four post lifts and the multitude of service equipment,which makes up a modern day service area. The sales area consisted of comfort cooling, ventilation, smoke control/summer ventilation, water services, power, fire alarm, TV, CCTV, access control and security. The data systems were flood wired and designed to be fully integrated with the workshop systems.
The external lighting was designed and installed to meet the requirements of high luminance levels for display parking yet being within the stringent local authority requirements for glare and proximity to local residential areas.
