A new-build 13,000m² hospital spread over three floors.

The mechanical installation services involved the extension of heating and chilled water from an existing energy centre to serve ceiling mounted radiant heating and four-pipe fan coils units. Air handling units and associated ductwork distribution systems serve all areas of the building.

Hot water generation plant and hot & cold water distribution services, including the supply and installation of sanitaryware and above ground drainage, were also included in Airedale's work.

All service routes through the circulation corridors were pre-fabricated off site and delivered on modules, which were integrated with the structure, while ervices outside the corridors were installed conventionally.

The electrical services involved the installation of a modular wiring system throughout the whole building, including an L1 analogue addressable fire alarm system compliant to BS5739, while lighting used ceiling-mounted recessed luminaires
