A student residential development comprising of a tower building linked to existing residence via a link corridor constructed under these works. The 34-storey tower consists of 520 bedrooms with shared kitchen/dining facilities in varying sized blocks along with reception, concierge, VIP Lounge and laundry facilities occupying the lower floors. This project was a private development in Leeds City Centre.
The mechanical & electrical services briefly comprised of tanked boosted metered water & electrical supplies to each block via a dedicated substation installation, electrical panel heating system to level 19 above this chilled water fan coil units with electrical heating elements, TV, voice door entry, fire alarm, HWS, MCWS, ventilation, sanitary ware with acoustically treated drainage. The link corridor being cooled/heated via an under floor system fed via an air cooled heat pump.
