The contract was to provide a city centre student accommodation with ensuite facilities for over 200 students.
The services installation involved a full M&E design and installation, including a central gas-fired domestic hot water system, local ventilation, electric heating, smoke control ventilation, power, data, TV, telecom, fire alarm, CCTV, access control and security. THe security systems and fire detection were linked throughout and made allowance for adjoining buildings and in particular note of the security of the students.
The project was completed to a tight program, and delivered on time and within budget for the students to occupy on their return from summer recess.
