Airedale Mechanical &amp; Electrical Ltd have been awarded the design and installation for the new Outwood Academy in Doncaster, on behalf of Main Contractor Wates Construction. The Development is for the replacement of the existing school with associated access, landscaping and sports pitches including the demolition of the existing school buildings.

The second award is for the installation and coordination of new M&amp;E Service to The Grange School Runcorn on behalf of Main Contractor Galliford Try. The Grange project will combine a nursery, infant, junior and high schools as one institution.

The school survived the Government BSF review, which saw the Halton Schools BSF reduced from a Â£167m building programme down to Â£50m.

Both projects are scheduled to commence March 2012 and will provide state-of-the-art teaching facilities.</description>

Dixon Allerton Academy - on behalf of Wates Construction, 97 Oxford Road - Uxbridge behalf of McLaren Construction, Horton Halls and Wakefield One Leisure Centre - behalf of Willmott Dixon, Phase 2 University of Sussex (Student Accommodation) - on behalf of Ocon Construction, Student Accommodation Winchester on behalf of Osborne Construction and Travel Lodge Manchester on behalf of GMI Construction.

									<title>University of Sheffield iconic Arts Tower</title>

Following on from the other successful phases of the iconic Arts Tower for The University of Sheffield, Airedale M &amp; E Ltd working closely with BAM Construction have secured the final phase works. 

The final phase includes the refurbishment of the nine lecture theatres located in the lower levels of the building.  The circa £2.5m project consists of new ventilation systems, revised heating and electrical services to the lecture theatres and lower floors. 

The building has been refurbished, whilst occupied, over the last two years, with this final phase due to complete in December 2011.</description>

Working with BAM Construction the UCL Academy in Camden includes state-of-the-art laboratories, a science demonstration theatre and an engineering science suite including workshops.  The academy is designed by Buro Happold with Airedale responsible for the specialist services design and co-ordination of services. The services installation commences in September 2011 and is due to handover for the term commencing September 2012.
 
The Appleton Academy in Wyke, West Yorkshire is a centre of learning build in a circular concept with a central courtyard and community library to create an exciting and inspirational working environment. Airedale M &amp; E Ltd will be working with a Farrans, H &amp; J Martin and Patton joint venture and the BDP design team to deliver the project by September 2012.
 
Finally, Airedale M &amp; E Ltd will be working with Shepherd Construction Limited to provide the New Kitchen Block at HMP Wakefield. Responsible for the design development, installation and commissioning, this facility upgrade will be operational by mid 2012. The project is to be completed with the minimum of disruption to the establishment regimes and management duties.</description>

									<title>NAMRC - Nuclear Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre</title>

Airedale M&amp;E Ltd have been awarded the electrical installation package on the Nuclear AMRC, a joint venture with the University of Sheffield, the University of Manchester and a consortium of industry partners. The Nuclear AMRC will play a key role in the first of the UK's new network of Technology Innovation Centres designed to help equip UK industry with the ability to capitalise on future global market opportunities. Airedale will be working with BAM Services Engineering and main contractor BAM to deliver the Offices, Laboratories and Workshop Facilities.
 
The project also includes a rationalisation of the HV/LV systems and a new energy centre.
 
The £1.5m electrical works has a fast-track programme commencing in March 2011 and completion planned for October 2011.</description>

Airedale M&amp;E Ltd have been awarded the enabling works, design, installation and commissioning of the M&amp;E services for the redevelopment of the North Stand of Molineux Stadium, the home of Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club. Airedale will be working with the main contractor Buckingham Construction Group to deliver this £3m M&amp;E project for the start of the 2012/2013 season.
 
Enabling work commenced in February and the main works start with the demolition of the Stan Cullis Stand at the end of the this season (2011/2012), with a state-of-the-art two-tier structure that extends into the open corner of the Steve Bull Stand - starting a stadium bowl design.

The North Stand will include concessions, kiosks, fine dining restaurant and bar,  kitchens, spectator toilets, groundsman facilities and media facilities. Capacity will increase to around 37000 upon completion of this phase of the works.</description>

Shepherd Construction Limited have awarded Airedale M&amp;E Ltd the 33 storey Student Residential Tower in Great Marlborough Street, Manchester.
 
Following on from the success of the Plaza II building in Leeds, AME will be working with Shepherd Construction Ltd to install and commission the M&amp;E services to this 520 bed student accommodation which is destined to be the third tallest building in Manchester. Standing some 109 metres tall it will accommodate undergraduate students, postgraduates and international students and include a mix of self-contained studio apartments and cluster-style communal accommodation.
 
This £4.5m M&amp;E project is due to commence in May 2011 and will complete during August 2012.</description>

Airedale M&amp;E Ltd has won the ROSPA Gold award again - for the fourth year running!

Airedale is proud of its achievements in regards to Health and Safety, the company recognises that it's the little things that it addresses and actions as a team on a daily basis that leads to these awards.

David Rawlins, RoSPA’s awards manager, said: “RoSPA firmly believes that organisations that have demonstrated their commitment to continuous improvement in accident and ill health prevention deserve recognition. Airedale Mechanical and Electrical Group Ltd has shown that it is committed to striving for such continuous improvement and we are delighted to honour it through the presentation of an award.”

Speaking about this latest win, Airedale Group Health and Safety manager, Mick Gill, said "If we carry on in the same vain I'm confident we will be on target to win the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents Sword of Honour within the next two years."</description>
